Senior Power BI Consultant (Contract)

Location: Fully remote, with preference for candidates in New Jersey or Philadelphia area; occasional travel may be required.
Duration: 3-6 months (short-term contract).
Start Date: As early as October 2025.
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of approximately $90/hr - $105/hr (may vary slightly based on candidate experience). Reports To: Global PMO Director.

Opportunity Overview

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Power BI Consultant to reshape the dashboarding across the MedTech Transcend Program. This senior-level role (Senior Manager or Director equivalent) involves redeveloping existing dashboards. The ideal candidate will operate independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain a high standard of detail and quality throughout the program.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical BI initiative by integrating data from multiple sources and delivering intuitive, high-impact dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the redesign and redevelopment of existing BI dashboards into Power BI, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced functionality.
  • Create advanced dashboards that pull from multiple data sources, focusing on data integration, modeling, and user interface design.
  • Collaborate with the Global PMO Director to align deliverables with program goals.
  • Uphold best practices in BI development, including data accuracy, visualization standards, and performance optimization.
  • Work autonomously to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions efficiently.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard creation, data visualization, and advanced features.
  • Proven expertise in data integration, data modeling, and interface development across diverse data sources.
  • Senior-level experience (Senior Manager or Director equivalent) in BI projects, with a track record of leading complex initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the MedTech or healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP or program management systems.
  • Location in NJ or Philly for potential on-site collaboration.
