Director of Paid Search Marketing (Google & Bing)

Date Posted: 04-23-2018 has been engaged to place a Director of Paid Search Marketing. This is a full time permanent role in Brooklyn, NY. Being onsite is required. The role is on an internal digital marketing agency for a very large private company in the U.S.

Candidate will be an integral part of the planning, development, execution, and optimization of marketing plans to reach clients with branding and direct response advertising. Candidate should also should be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics. The goal is to deliver measurable client acquisition that will directly increase the firm's revenue.

This role will be responsible for conducting market research to find answers about consumers habits and trends. Brainstorming and developing ideas for creative marketing campaigns and strategies as well as plan and execute initiatives to reach potential clients via Google and Bing. The candidate must be comfortable managing large budgets (~$10MM - $20MM annually) and taking responsibility for success and failure.  Candidate must also be able to assist in financial and internal reporting.


  • Proven experience in creating, managing and optimizing high performance paid search campaigns
  • Deep understanding of excel (pivot tables, advanced nested formulas, etc)
  • Deep Understanding of web analytics tools (Google Analytics or Omniture)
  • Experience with large budgets or experience with lots of account
Preferred skills, but not required:
  • SQL knowledge
  • Experience with data visualization and exploration software (Tableau, Qlik, etc)
  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Attribution Modeling Software
  • Experience in Legal Marketing
